Jul 1, 2011 at 3:19 comment added old_timer It is very easy to ditch the arduino sandbox and write applications for the hardware in asm or C or whatever you can find a compiler for. Lots of other good platforms, the msp430 launchpad, stm32 value line discovery, sam7s.

Second off, I have already chosen the Atmel line as my weapon of choice since I've done 4 or 5 projects with it... sorry =(. I'm not sure how much more time I'm going to be spending in assembly land by choice though. I'll check out your website and I think your suggestions will prove helpful even though I'm not going down the PIC line at the moment.
