I am designing a microcontroller based delay circuit to implement delays of 2,hours hours, 1hour1 hour, 45 minutes, and 30 minutes Micro Controller based delay circuit. The circuit will automatically turn on off the Relay as Programmeda relay after this time period has elapsed.

I am stuck with somea narrow varietiesselection of micro controllersmicrocontrollers available locally in market(89C51, 89C52, 89S51, 89S52, 89C2051, PIC 16C71 and PIC 16F84).:

  • 89C51
  • 89C52
  • 89S51
  • 89S52
  • 89C2051
  • PIC 16C71
  • PIC 16F84

I have checked the datasheetdatasheets of these micro controllersmicrocontrollers but there is no information about the maximum delay they can produce. Kindly guide me that what

I think PIC is my only choice as the 89 series Micro Controllers can't be programmed for such long delay.
