Is it safe to toggle a ledan LED strip powered with 12vby a 12 V ATX PSU line?

I connected a segment of a ledan LED strip (12v12 V) to a line coming from a standard ATX PSU (12vthe 12 V line, of course). 

I just wonder if it is safe to put a toggle switch to turn on/off the ledLED strip, or may beif maybe this really simple circuit requires additional components. I

I should say the ATX PSU is actually powering a PC and I want to power also the ledLED strip also, and turn it on/off while pcthe PC (psuPSU) inis on.
