Simplex means the path is reversible. So information may be transferred in either direction sharing the one path and only ONE DIRECTION AT A TIME. (e.g. CB Radio)

Duplex means information between two points has two paths dedicated for sending and receiving.

Half-Duplex means only one of two paths at most may be active.  Full-Duplex means both may be active simultaneously.

Dual Simplex means the 2 lanes are reversible but unidirectional, and hardware may be selected in either direction.  (Thus Dual Simplex can be configured to be appear Full-Duplex which are not reversible.)

Full Duplex is also simultaneous unidirectional but by hardware design limited to opposing directions such as RS-232, USB 2

So Dual Simplex could be dual lanes for same direction for bandwidth doubling doubling such as USB 3 or configured as Dual Simplex in opposite directions.
