8-bit AVR with the most RAM is still the: ATmega1284. However(p), in the PIC world16kB RAM, there is the128kB flash, DIP40

16-bit PIC: dsPIC33EP512MC502 with 48 kB, 48kB RAM, 512 kB512kB flash, and supposedly 70 MIPSDIP28

32-bit PIC: PIC32MXxxxF256B, all in a64kB RAM, 256kB flash, DIP28.

32-bit ARM:

As of January 2018, it looks like the 8-bit AVR with the most RAM is still the ATmega1284. However, in the PIC world, there is the 16-bit dsPIC33EP512MC502 with 48 kB RAM, 512 kB flash, and supposedly 70 MIPS, all in a DIP28.
