Apr 8, 2020 at 3:36 comment added user173271 For a sine wave the maximum occurs when the first derivative equals zero, not "max rate of change occurs when the derivative is 0". The derivative of Asin(wt) equals Awcos(wt) and the maximum of that is Aw which is the maximum rate of change. Good answer otherwise so I've up marked.
