Dec 12, 2012 at 21:19 comment added Anindo Ghosh Not an answer to your question, but this might be useful to you: The 4.5 Volt "lantern battery" you have shown is easily substituted by 3 AA or AAA cells in series: Just take the top part off an old lantern battery and hook it up to your 3 cells, and use the contacts as they are.
