Why lilL-pol accumulators do not change athe polarity of electro magnetan electromagnet?

I made a simple electro magnetelectromagnet with a screw and a wire.

When I supply power to it via 1 AA battery (1.5v) and change + and - contacts it act differentacts differently with other magnetmagnets (attracts and repels), but when I supply power via my 250mah250mAh, 3.7v li7V Li-pol accumulatorsaccumulator, it only attracts other magnetmagnets, even if I change the contactscontacts' polarity.

Can I make my electromagnet repelsrepel other magnetmagnets with liLi-pol accumulators supply?
