PIC32 Vusb3x3VUSB3V3 must be externalexternally powered?

I use a PIC32 https://4donline.ihs.com/images/VipMasterIC/IC/MCHP/MCHP-S-A0008004139/MCHP-S-A0008004139-1.pdf?hkey=6D3A4C79FDBF58556ACFDE234799DDF0PIC32 and iI want to use RB11. That's a USB pin but can be useused as GPIO.

InThe datasheet specifies in 18.4 page 180, that say : "For non-USB operation with RB11 and/or RB10 as GPIOs, the USB module must be disabled and power applied to VUSB3V3 via VDD.".

For non-USB operation with RB11 and/or RB10 as GPIOs, the USB module must be disabled and power applied to VUSB3V3 via VDD.

But that seems powered by external VDD  ? Or PIC32 do it in intern  ?

I think it's need external but that just to be sure.

Thanks
