Nov 26, 2013 at 13:33 comment added Vorac @IgnacioVazquez-Abrams, true. Though I get the impression that it is always above 12V, so a LDO could be sufficient for the feed-forward path. And charging is dead simple - pass to it 12 V, indeffinitely!
