I'm a former U.S. Navy ET (84-90), ham radio operator(Amateur Extra - AE7OO) and grandfather.

I was a FreeBSD committer from 93-98(FAQ, kernel, userland), where I added the GPL math emulator and SUN libm (I had a 386sx and wanted to run ghostscript), started the FAQ, and did various things.

I've worked as a sysadmin programming and running web sites (perl and C++).

Until AZ nixed it, I was a taximeter installer doing custom installs of meters, cameras(local and cloud enabled) and signage.

Presently I do embedded hardware and software design (STM32 and nRF51).
