Even galvanic corrosion currents can negatively affect bearing life, never mind actually putting power through them. These bearings would at the very least need preload to ensure that the balls are always in contact with both races. There's a reason these "ingenious" designs are not sold as commercial products. They tend to make customers call back in anger. | |
