My question is based on the attached picture of a diode which says SX DG but I can not find this diode. The diode is taken from PoE 63v part of IP camera attached with MB6s ke47enter image description here

Maybe? :SMBJ58CA littlefuse transint supressor diode in DO-214AA package.

You should specify where did you take those elements from. What is their theoretical purpose.

  • \$\begingroup\$ Not likely. SMBJ XXX C A diodes have a cathode band and a Littelfuse logo on them. \$\endgroup\$

    \$\begingroup\$ @Huisman bi-directional wouldn't have a cathode band, It could any other manufacturer making equivalent. \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jun 15, 2019 at 12:05

  • \$\begingroup\$ Agreed. The brand is not Littelfuse, but dozens of companies second-source these parts, and many use the same codes/markings; the placement near what appear to be FWBs, and the voltage being realistic for a PoE application, gives further confidence. \$\endgroup\$ Commented Apr 19 at 8:55
