My job title is production engineer. I basically look after products that we manufacture and help the R&D engineers design manufacturable products. I also, create test jigs and provide technical support to customers for products in the field. I also spend a lot of time finding alternates to obsolete components. In my spare time I tinker with all sorts of things to do with electricity and electronics.
