past few weeks I've been building my teslaa Tesla coil And. I wanted to use a 3kv 30mah3kV 30mA neon sign transformer but the problem is the length of the arc is not enough for my taste,because. Because of that I wanted to use a marxMarx generator to get higher voltage and huge amount of discharge voltage on its output.

So the question is,can I use a marxMarx generator for a teslaTesla coil,if. If can, do I need a spark gap to resonate the primary of my tesla coil  ?BTW

BTW I need guidance I'm not a veteran on electronics.thank you☺
