Cost doesn't matter, all these components are so cheap cost is negligible so what if a diode costs 15 cents instead of 3 cents. I want the best functioning diode for a low voltage bridge rectifier. I know there's other ways of doing it I just want to use a rectifier.
The lowest I can find is 1A 20V. will the voltage drop of all Schottky diodes witch are 1A 20V be about the same or will it vary by model? one more question how would a germanium diode compare for the application? thanks
